Freedom city |
On our tenth week, we went to Kampala - the capital city of Uganda. We travelled by boda boda around Kampala. It was amazing trip. We saw so many interesting places and taste so delicious Ugandan food. We went to Freedom city, which was one of the best shopping mall I have ever seen in Uganda. We stayed one night with a local Ugandan students. They were so nice and showed us a real Ugandan hospitality.
The reason of our visit to Kampala was a meeting with a GIZ. We had a really open and informative conversation. The representative of GIZ shared his international experience in developing countries. In addition, he gave us information about funds for pineapple and coffee farmers in Uganda.
Our aim was to find a suitable fund for our organisation in Uganda - NIRP. Our meeting was successful. We got a contact with local export company KK Foods.
GIZ offers customised solutions to complex challenges. They are an experienced service provider and assist the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation. They offer demand-driven, tailor-made and effective services for sustainable development.

Before we returned to Masaka city, we had a stopover again in Kampala. We experience again the challenging traffic there and a busy daily lifestyle. Generally, our visit to Kampala was successful. We completed all our plans and experienced even more than we had expected.

Taking a shower in Uganda is always full of surprises. This time we found a little sweet green frog on the wall.
